AU PRO – Professional Readiness Opportunities

AU PRO, is designed to improve student preparation for the working world through a set of co-curricular opportunities. The program will implement a scaffold of experiences to improve written and oral communication skills while illuminating the overall characteristics of a professional image. As a reflection of the University’s mission, it engages the lens of servant leader as it builds capacity for the outer signifiers of professionalism.

AU PRO will:

    • Written communication skills
    • Oral communication skills
    • Characteristics of overall professional image
  • Be co-curricular in nature
  • Employ the lens of the servant leader and value of professionalism itself

Signature Series Recommended Track:

First Year: Written Communication

  • Written Communication – Write like a PRO
  • Résumé Workshop: Build a Résumé like a PRO

Second Year: Professional Image

  • Communication Strategies – Communicate like a PRO
  • Online Image – Look like a PRO Online

Third Year: Oral Communication

  • Interview Strategies – Interview like a PRO
  • Network Strategies – Network like a PRO

CEP Credit Tracking Information:

CEP Credit Tracking: CEP credits will be tracked electronically in the student’s CEP account. Students are responsible for monitoring their credits online and must fulfill their CEP requirements prior to graduation. The steps to CEPs are listed below:

Navigate to Anderson University homepage.
Click on the three horizontal bars at the top right of the screen.
In the search bar, type “CEP” and click the search symbol.
Scroll down and click on “Curricular Enhancement Program (CEP)”.
Scroll down and click on “CHECK YOUR CEP CREDITS”. Login using your AU credentials.
Your CEP Credits will appear for your review.
Note: Students will not be eligible for graduation until they have successfully completed their required CEPs. For more information on requirements click here.
